As you may or may not know, we have partnered this year with The South Shore Recycling Coperative (SSRC) to collect paint at Household Hazardous Waste Events in the Spring and next Fall at member towns on the South Shore. If you go to our photo feed you can see us in action at an event in Weymouth. Also, you will see some classic examples of paint that can NOT be recycled.
This is an exciting time for us as we gain more access to paint that might otherwise go to waste!!! We have also received a grant, as a result of our partnership with SSRC, through the Mass Department of Environmental Protection (Mass DEP). We are pleased to say that so far through this collection partnership we have collected close to 400 gallons of paint …and its still early in the season. Thats almost as much as we collected in our first year!!!
That being said, as a result of this bountiful collection we are no longer accepting quarts until we can find a away to process them more quickly and will need to sell more of our reColor brand paint to keep our cycle going. SO….please consider trying our reColor brand paint for your next painting project!!! We know you won’t regret it!
